It’s official! My work in progress series The Prophecy Chronicles is now complete!

I have been working on this series for about two years. It was two years of hard work, a lot of paper and some serious time spent at the computer. I created these characters, their stories, and I had a lot of fun finishing their stories.

There are four books in this series. Destiny, Apolla, Ruby and Valka. You can find the prologues to the others on my feed. In celebration, I give you the prologue of the fourth and final book: Valka: Book four in the Prophecy Chronicles. Enjoy! And be sure to tell me what you think about it in the comments!

Prologue
Fourth Realm~Aldoria

The fires burned bright, casting shadows on the ground. The smell of burning wood filled the air, mixed with the sound of screams. The Raiders had come. The men who were sent to do the Evil One’s bidding. A village outside the Eastern Region had been attacked. The houses were burning. The Raiders took anything they could get there hands one. They killed all in their path.

The sound of a horn mixed with the screams and burning flames. The call for help had been sent.

It was not long until the call was answered. The fires strength started to fade. Water appeared from nowhere in the night sky, dousing the fires. Ice appeared on the ground, creating a barrier around the few people who were within the houses.

The Raiders gathered in the center of the village, their eyes on the sky. One stood out amongst the rest. He was taller than the other, his black hair melding with his dark cloths. His dark eyes watched the sky with burning anger. The snake that was tattooed on his man’s arms was stitched into the sleeve of his coat. A woman stood next to him. She stood proud and tall with her long, dark hair trailing down her back. Her eyes were almost as dark as his.

“There is no reason to hide to in sky.” The man called out, his voice venomous.

Five figures landed on the ground. Their clothes were a mixture of color. A woman in red calmed the flames around her and the others. A man in blue put out a small flame by his leg. A man in grey called the metal buckets to his arm, creating armor around it. A woman in blue and white stood with a sword of ice in her hand. The last woman wore yellow and pink. She reached for a villager, her hands healing the burns on the villager’s leg. They stood in a line, facing the Raiders, their eyes focused.

The woman in red stepped forward. “Levithan. I thought you were still cowering in that hole of yours.”

The man smiled, a cruel smile. “My dear Flame. It is good to see you again.”
“Finally caught up to you.”
“Indeed you have. Although, I do wish you would stay out of this.”
Flame shook her head. “You know we cannot. You are hurting innocent lives. We will not stay out of this.”

The man stepped forward, but a fire sparked to life in his path. He looked up at Flame. Her eyes were glowing red. He looked around him, at the buildings that were still on fire. They were her weapon. That made them dangerous.

“There is fire in your eyes, Flame. A fire I have not seen before.”

“Well, Levithan, this meeting is a little different then the last one.” Flame tilted her head a little, her eyes locked on Levithan’s.

“How so?”

“We are not alone.”

Two more figures fell from the sky, landing in front of the others. One wore a long, purple dress, flowing down to the ground. The other’s dress was white. Their brown hair swung in the breeze. Their eyes locked on Levithan. They were sisters, identical in all but eye color. Purple and white.

The woman next to Levithan backed away, her eyes wide.

Levithan stood his ground, but the confidence had left his eyes.

“Hestia.”

The woman in purple looked at the woman who stood behind Levithan.

“Mulena, why do aid the Evil One?” She asked, her voice echoing.

“You would not understand, Hestia. You and Noelani are blind to the power he offers.” Mulena replied.

“The power he offers is dark and evil.”

Mulena shook her head. “It is eye opening.”

“Tell me,” Levithan scowled. “why have you come?”

“Flame has told me of your deeds. Your dark magic is growing to strong for this world.”

“So, you are going to send me to another Realm. Another world.”

Noelani spread her hands out, calling to the light. It gathered on her palms. Hestia spread her arms out too, calling to the darkness. They gathered under her hands.

Levithan took a step back, his eyes on the light and dark.

“Get them.”

His Raiders ran forward, their weapons raised. Flame and the other Element Wielders ran forward to meet them.

Hestia started to sing, calling to the darkness around her.

“Levithan, your actions and beliefs have lead you to this moment. Your pursuit in the dark magic has made you to evil for this world.”

Their voices echoed as the light and the dark grew strong and brighter. Levithan scowled, stumbling backwards as Hestia stepped forward.

Nucarie samdama letor.” The words filled the air, echoing in the cool, night air.

White smoke appeared around Levithan and Mulena. They could not move. A portal appeared above them, making the night glow brighter.

With an angry scream, Levithan tried running out of the smoke. Its hold on him was to strong.

His eyes landed on Flame, fire reflecting in his eyes. “Mark my words, Flame. I will return. And when I do, there will be nothing you can do to stop it. This world will burn!”

The smoke disappeared, taking Levithan and Mulena with it.

Hestia and Noelani turned to the Element Wielders.

With a nod, they disappeared into the night. The Element Wielders helped the villagers rebuild.

Levithan’s words seemed to echo in the night.

He would return. One day.
