Can you believe its already November? I can’t. It feels like yesterday was March. And as of today there are twenty-five days till Thanksgiving, fifty-four days until Christmas and about sixty days until New Years! Time keeps flying by!

And it’s NaNoWriMo, which stands for National Novel Writing Month. And while I am not participating in it, I know a lot of people who are. You guys who are participating are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I know it can be difficult. Good luck to you all.

Personally, I don’t know if November is going to busy or not. Of course school is going to be a factor. It will definitely get busy as we come to the end of the semester. And of course there is Thanksgiving plans and who knows what else might come up during the month.

And then there is my writing. Writing has been pushed to a back burner because school and other things needed my attention. Every time I sit down to write, no words find their way onto paper. It’s troubling. Writing is important to me and watching it sitting on the back burner is hard for me. But I get so overwhelmed by what is at the front of the stove that writing stays where it is, no matter how many times I try to pull it back.

But I’m going to change that. Writing is just too important to me. I’m going to pull it off the back and give it the attention it needs. I’m going to work harder to write more everyday.

And it’s not just my writing that’s been pushed away. I haven’t been reading much either or doing other things that I enjoy. November is going to be my chance to change that.
