If you’ve read my blog, you know that I am a big advocate for Operation Christmas Child (OCC). Most of you probably know what it is. This operation delivers shoeboxes full of toys, school supplies and other gifts.

This week is the national collection week for OCC. You can find a drop off spot near you to reliever your shoeboxes. From there those shoeboxes will be taken to a sorting center, where hundreds of volunteers will make sure the boxes are in order. The. They will be shipped off to one of the hundreds of countries OCC delivers to. The boxes are given to children who don’t usually get to celebrate Christmas.

I’ve participated in OCC for about four years. It’s something that I hope to continue doing.
