I listen to music everyday, especially when I am doing homework or working on something. I listen to a lot of different genres too. Country, pop, folk, instrumental and a lot more. I have a ton of favorite songs. My Spotify is full of playlists with a bunch of songs that get me motivated.

When I am writing, I like to listen to composers. People like Geoff Knorr, BrunuhVille, Marcus Warner, Two Steps from Hell and so many more. For some reason, those artists get me motivated and kind of jump start the gears in my mind. And I don’t listen to the just when I’m writing. Sometimes when I am reading or doing my homework. Their music really gets me motivated, and I get a lot of things done.

I’m a little curious. What kind of music makes you feel motivated? What kind of music makes you want to get something done? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.

I think as a poet, anything melancholy helps my prose. Other than that, something with a beat is key. I am a believer. Music Motivates!!

Yesss, 2SFH is amazing for productivity! I’ve actually trained myself to feel like writing in one of my WIPs when I hear that music. XD
Also, Adrian Von Zeigler’s Celtic music is amazing, and perfect for when I need to write nonfiction, send emails, or otherwise be productive.
