Happy Saturday, y’all! First, I am sorry for going MIA last week. We had some friends in town, and I wanted to spend time with them. Second, I apologize for the late post. I have had a very busy day.

I know that the past few weeks I have been struggling with consistency, especially with weekly posts here on my blog. It has taken me a little bit of time to get used to posting on Saturdays instead of Sundays. That and the fact that school has been very busy and my family usually visits on the weekend.

Now, I know that I have already made a post about this topic. But I needed a reminder of it so I thought I would share it with you all as well.

Part of my inconsistency has been not being able to make the time. I’ve been busy and a lot of the time I let other things take over the time I put aside for writing a post. Sometimes I don’t even try to make the time. Our lives can be crazy busy. Mine is a lot of the time too.

But it is also important not to let the things we enjoy doing slip out of our fingers. My writing is important to me, and I love being able to share it with all of you. I have to remind myself not to lose track of it. I have had the habit of letting my writing, something that I love, slip through my fingers so I can focus on other things. And while those things can be important too, my writing is a part of me. It is something I have to do.

Making the time for the things we enjoy can be very hard. It’s a struggle. Trust I know. It’s something I have struggled with for a very long time. But I am planning on doing better. On making the time for what I love to do.

So, make the time. It doesn’t have to be a long time. Thirty minutes. Twenty minutes. Ten minutes. Even five minutes! As long as you are MAKING the time.

And the more you make the time, the more that time will grow. That five minutes will turn into ten. Which will turn into twenty. To thirty. Forty. Fifty. Sixty.

You just have to make the time.
