Good evening everyone! Happy November! I can’t believe it’s already November. Thanksgiving is just 19 days away! And Christmas is 49! That is crazy.

Well, my family has already started getting our Christmas decorations out, and I am very excited for Christmas. I know to some that it might seem a bit early to decorate, but it’s something my family has always done. How early do you decorate for Christmas? I am also excited for Thanksgiving as well because my whole family will be joining us! I can’t wait! And it also means we get out of school for a couple weeks!! I think that might be one of my favorite parts.

This month also contains national collection week for Operation Christmas Child or OCC. For those of you who don’t really know much about OCC, you can go to my earlier post where I explain it a little more. You can find that post here). National collection week starts on the 15th and goes through the 22nd. You can pack a shoebox full of toys, school supplies and hygiene items. If you want a better idea of what to pack, going to the official Samaritan’s Purse website can be very helpful. Once you do that, find a drop off spot near you. By doing this, you can bless a child who doesn’t really get to celebrate Christmas.

My goals for this month are pretty much the same as always. Read more and write more. I am also hoping to spend more time editing the first draft of my work in progress. I will hopefully be able to share more details on my book Rain and Wave in the future, so keep your eyes open!
