Good evening readers! I know this isn’t the time that I usually post, but it has been a busy past few weeks and I haven’t really been able to post much on here. That will hopefully change soon, but there is something I really want to share with y’all! That’s why I am posting today instead of on Saturday when I usually do.

Between work and everything else going on, I’ve had little free time. But I have been trying to prioritize my reading and my writing a lot more recently. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve been trying. I’ve started reading a book called Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson, and I’ve really been enjoying it. It is the first book of a duology. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the series so I am really excited to keep reading. Have you read it? If so, let me know what you think about it in the comments! (No spoilers though, please).

But enough about reading. I have an announcement!

Recently, I have also started to work on a new short story. I was thinking about posting some snippets on here in the next few weeks when I get a few done. What do y’all think?

Here is a short synopsis:

Children of the two most wealthy families in the city. Their fathers are rivals, and they grew up being taught to hate each other. But when a new family moves into the city set on taking control of it, the two families must learn to work together to take care of this new threat.
Nalla and Titus grew up on separate sides of a city they both love. Both of them would do anything to protect the city they call home and the people they call family. Even if it means trusting your greatest enemy.

It is still a work in progress so things may change in the storyline, but that’s basically what it’ll be about. Let me know what you think in the comments and if you’d be interested. I really like this story idea and can’t wait to share it with y’all!
